ATHLETICS: An athletics participation form, including a physical exam, is required to begin practice. Forms may be picked up from the coach of the sport or at the main office during Open House. Students participating in extra-curricular activities, including athletics, are strongly encouraged to purchase an ASB card. A portion of the ASB card fee supports SRHS athletics (cost is $15). If you are interested in a particular sport, you should contact the coach prior to August 18 for further instructions.

AUTOMOBILE PARKING (STUDENTS): 550 spaces are available for student parking; 550 parking permits will be issued on a first come first serve basis. Students are to park ONLY in areas assigned for student parking and will be required to have a parking sticker displayed in the front window. Students who park in assigned staff or visitor spaces may be cited. The school does not assume responsibility for vehicles parked on campus. Parking applications may be picked up in the Attendance Office during lunchtime or off the SRHS website. Student parking stickers will go on sale, to students, at “Kickoff” or after school begins. parking will be $20 for the year.

 

DRESS CODE: Students are expected to wear appropriate clothing and footwear for school. Students wearing clothing deemed inappropriate will be referred to the Vice-principal or Counselor. Parents are encouraged to monitor their students for appropriate clothing as they leave for school each day.

 

COUNSELING APPOINTMENTS: Students must fill out the "Request to See Counselor" form which is available in the Counseling Office. Counselors will then send for students during the least disruptive portion of their schedule unless it is an emergency. PHYSICAL EDUCATION UNIFORMS: The SRHS PE uniform is available for purchase at the school financial office. Shorts are $15, T-Shirts are $10. All students are required to wear appropriate attire to participate in Physical Education classes. Appropriate attire may consist of the SRHS PE uniform or plain navy shorts and plain short sleeve gray t-shirt. Clothing must abide by the SRHS dress code – no short shorts, tank tops, etc. and with the exception of the SRHS uniform, may not have logos, pictures, or printing.

 

TEXTBOOKS: Textbooks will be issued during “Kick-Off”. Books from the previous school year, or other school locations, may be returned at that time. Late fees are charged for overdue books. All book debts must be cleared before of during “Kick-Off”.

 

PICTURES/ID CARDS: Yearbook and ID pictures will be taken during “Kick-Off”. Parents may purchase additional pictures, price list will be available on the SRHS website. Make-up pictures will be taken Friday, September 24. Seniors need to contact Reyman Photography at (858) 271-0720.

 

SCHOOL BREAKFAST/LUNCH: The following prices were in effect for the 2010-11 school year. Breakfast – $ .00; Lunch - $2.25. These are subject to change.

 

CLASS SCHEDULES: Kick-Off is the very last time you can make elective class changes to your schedule for the year. NO EXCEPTIONS!
